I shake my milk paint in a mason jar. I don’t mind a few clumps – it makes for some pretty color variations.

I am now following you on Pinterest and Instagram! The only colors I have mixed are Grain sack and Shutter gray. So pretty!! I love that you love blue!! When mixing up your paint, I usually combine mixing with a mason jar and continue stirring with a plastic spoon 🙂

I like to mix it in a plastic shaker that’s normally used for things like protein shakes!

I use a mini wish to mix up the military paint. I distress, and then use hemp oil to give the paint and wood that gorgeous deep Rick color! You’re products have been the best I’ve used. Although I haven’t tried your waxes. I follow you on pinterest, and Facebook, and look forward to reading your blog every night.

Recently I use the milk paint mixer. Whether I turn it on or not depends on the height of my container. 😉

I also do everything but follow you on Twitter!

I used to use Mason Jars to mix my milk paint. Dump it all in and shake but now I literally just opened my order from the Purple Painted Lady with my new Milk Paint Mixer! I cant wait to see how it works out!!!

Entry #1: I don’t have a favorite mixing technique yet. I bought 2 bags of MMS milk paint, furniture wax, antiquing wax, hemp oil, and the first look book a few months ago … but haven’t used it on my first project yet ):

(Also a blog follower) I like to mix the milk paint in water in an old mason jar with an iced-tea spoon (thrift store find). Then I stir, stir, stir, let it sit for a minute while I set my kiddos up with their own art project or puzzle, give it another stir and paint away!

I have never used MMSMP, but I would *really* love to! We inherited two vintage bedroom sets that would look amazing painted with milk paint. Thank you so much for offering such a wonderful giveaway.

I have been painting my first piece this week. I mixed my paint in a mason jar with a small spatula. It has been fun working with the paint for the first time. I’m eager to see how my chair turns out!
