mmm | milkpaint masterpiece monday

Happy Monday Milk Paint lovers!

Share your masterpiece with us!  We love getting inspired with what you’ve created and hope others are inspired as well!  We have two colors of the month this month, say hello to Curio and Mustard Seed Yellow!

say hello to curio…

Curio Collage.jpg

Curio is a rich, walnut brown that is perfect to use as a glaze or stain.  It’s also a great color to use for mixing with other colors.  It was named for the rich wood on a curio Marian inherited from her aunt.

Pair Curio with a lightened version of Apron Strings for a classic brown and pink pairing.

say hello to mustard seed yellow…

Mustard Seed Yellow Collage

Mustard Seed Yellow is a warm, buttery yellow.  It’s bright without being too bold and it’s a perfect “happy yellow.”

Mix it with Tricycle for varying shades of coral.  It pairs well with Shutter Gray and Lucketts Green.

I have enjoyed using the ironstone and trophy so would like to try these as well !

I don’t know how the color played on other computer displays or off of your camera lens, but I opened this email and saw a big fat brush in a bowl of peachy-apricot milk and I thought it was melted ice cream!
