Let’s chat about February’s MMSMP Color of the Month. It’s our vintage blue-green, Aqua Sky!
A cheerful shade of seafoam is the perfect combination of blues and greens. It's more saturated than By The Sea, but not as dark as Teal Ocean. It sits happily in the middle! It is reminiscent of a 1930s and 1940s kitchen.
Aqua Sky is available in our new 100% natural, eco-friendly formula.
So how do you finish your painted pieces? Aqua Sky changes colors from raw (no finish) to applying finishes. To see how this blue-green changes with each finish, take a peek at this photo:

A Pop of Color
Aqua Sky can be used to add a bit of color to any room. It looks great when paired with wood tones. We love the look of this Aqua Sky painted dresser with a stained wood top.
We love the look of stenciled designs on Aqua Sky pieces! This chest was refinished by For the Love Creations. The base was painted in Aqua Sky, then Farmhouse White was used to stencil on the design. They used MilkWax™ White to seal the top and body of the piece and added some MilkWax™ Antiquing to the grooves.
